Community Recipe: Dadosch's Delicious Pancakes (Made with Next Level Meal)

Today we’re presenting some pancakes that were made by one hell of an influencer. His name is Dadosch and he really outdid himself on his version of our pancake recipe that we posted a few months ago.

Here is why this matters.

Are you in a hurry in the morning and often times don’t really know what to eat for breakfast? I can tell you one thing: breakfast doesn't have to be fancy to be delicious and healthy. That’s why the perfect choice for you this morning might be oatmeal. But not just regular ol’ oatmeal. We show you how you can spice up your oatmeal with some little extras to make it more potent.

Doesn’t oatmeal contain a lot of calories? 

Well, oatmeal contains calories in the form of carbohydrates. Carbohydrates are commonly referred to as „sugar“. But not all sugars are the same and some of these sugars are very healthy and beneficial for you as you will learn today. When you think of oatmeal and its creamy taste that hints at nuts you think, damn that stuff must be very tough in terms of calories. Oatmeal though has actually very little calories. A cup of oatmeal for instance has about 160 calories and these are actually not only coming from carbohydrates.

But here’s why oatmeal is such a superior breakfast choice:

The first thing you should look for in a meal is its combination of carbohydrates, protein and fat. When you can see that the product or raw ingredient (like oatmeal) has carbohydrates that are not just simple sugar (like white flour) you can be sure that it will be more gentle to your energy levels.

The second thing you should look is the fibre content of a product or meal. Due to its high content of fibre oatmeal will be broken down by your body very slowly. That means your body can use the energy that gets released from it for a long time.

The other cool thing is that this fibre can bind a lot of water to it and thus improve your digestion in a very positive way. Getting over 10g of fibre, better 20-30g should be your goal to improve digestion. But enough for now.   • Eggs (2)
  • Banana (1)
  • Next Level Meal (1 Pouch / 1 Portion)
  • Baking Powder (1/2 Package)
  • Cream Cheese (use the german „quark“ here) (60g)
  • Spelt Flour (1 1/2 heaped Tbl. spoons)
  • Milk (50-100ml)

Please find out which consistency you like by adding less or more water. You can also add Almond Milk, Cashew Milk or any milk alternative that you prefer but we can’t promise you that’ll taste the same.
